Strategy Consultant

Role Summary

A/B is looking for experienced strategy consultants to support our core team on freelance engagements across our private equity and corporate strategy clients. You will be a critical member of our team on a project-by-project basis and manage day-to-day operations for various workstreams. Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee primary research (expert interviews, B2B/B2C surveys, focus groups), desktop research, and financial modeling workstreams;

  • Lead review sessions with the senior leaders and junior associates on findings /
    implications;

  • Design, gather, analyze data to address key project objectives and investment questions;

  • Collaborate closely with client teams to review data, insights, and recommendations.


This is a freelance role and we are looking for an entrepreneurial consultant with a desire to grow with A/B long-term.


Requirements

  • 3-10+ years of experience at top-tier strategy firm (preferably within a private equity practice or rotation);

  • Prior client services and consulting experience in growth strategy, commercial / vendor due diligence, voice of the customer, and portfolio value creation;

  • Expertise in primary research and data analysis including market sizing, surveys, customer research, expert interviews, and/or financial modeling;

  • Confidence in leading and executing workstream.s from start to finish.
